I loved going there. What was the name of the batting cages on Millerville right next to the old M & M car wash.

My middle school years are filled with memories of Skip Bertman's batting cages and going for baseball card swaps and/or purchases.

Best memory I have is pitching off the plastic mound ... at that time, I could throw a 12 to 6 curve ball ... ended up hitting my friend in the eye as he misjudged it. Never let him live it down as he was fairly athletic. Ended up giving him a shiner.

Back in high school we used to do the cage leagues. Some sort of point system if I remember correctly, geez that was 23 years ago...
