I always call to cancel and they give me the 5 month $27 every time, if this stops then so will my service.

You realize they give you the low introductory rate, with the knowledge you likely won't cancel immediately and it will auto renew at those extreme rates.
They WILL NOT cancel your subscription prior for you. Was deploying and they told me I couldn't cancel my auto renew at that time, had to wait.

I guess with wifi in new cars now people can just stream Pandora free or any other service. Sat radio future is bleak Id say.

It isn't a new customer rate, but it is just the music channels. You won't get the sports and other news channels. This is what I do too. I set a reminder to call them before my rate goes up, then tell them I received this offer in the mail and they give it to me every time.

frick them. I settled my bill on a truck I wrecked and told them to cancel my service, and they still send me emails and have called me threatening to terminate my service if I don't pay my bill. They can frick off.

Just called them and they caved. Tried to over me a small discount. I said if I can't get the $27 for five months then I want to cancel. It wasn't up till next month . I got my deal... scare tactic

Was deploying, reactivated for my wife's vehicle. Asked them to cancel my auto renewal, they wouldn't. Told them fine, please remove my credit card from auto renewals then. Return. Have bills for overdue service an it's like $180 Crazy

I have had the 5 month deal for about 10 years. Do not ever ever ever give them a debit or cc #. They send me a bill by mail and sometimes I pay with an XM gift card. I set a reminder in my phone to cancel the day before the 5 month deal is up. No new deal cancel and wait a week to 10 days for them to beg me to come back.

I've been a member ever since Stern. I think I pay $28 a month for two subscriptions. Never had any rate changes.
