Last year my account got autodrafted $175 for Siriusxm on February 27. This year I was going to try to talk em down to like $100 like I did in years passed, but I just noticed they already drafted my account on February 8th..for $205. They pulled a fast one on me. Can I call and bitch about them charging me before my year was up, then try to haggle? I'm assuming they sent some email or letter about the rates going up so not really focusing on that.

They told me when they lowered mine to $95 it would renew at $95 every year.

Now i'm thinking next summer I'll need to call them to make sure they renew that shite at $95.

Yeah....call and complain. They worked with me by just doing six months and reimbursed me the other six. When this six months is up, bye-bye XM.

Cancel and make them credit the charge back to your credit card. Go buy a $30 XM gift card from Best Buy. Wait a few days and you will get an email to come back for $25 for 6 months. Rinse and repeat. Never give XM your CC info or debit card.

I always cancel right before my auto renewal date. Wait a couple of weeks and I get an offer for 5 months for $20 with no added fees. Sign back up and repeat 5 months later.

I've been doing this for the past 4 years.

Do they not charge you and installation fee every time you sign up again?

No, I've never been charged an installation fee. Whatever that is.

Part of the reason I absolutely hate any auto drafts or auto renewals on ANY account.

If you keep them request an invoice statement

. I pay by check only & mail it. Each time renewal is due I get a statement.

Bro you are getting screwed by them. I understand you said they charged you early that sucks, but I always call a couple weeks early and they give me 6 months for $25. I tell them I'm canceling if they don't give me the same deal and they don't even try to fight it anymore.
