found one the other day in my apt bathroom. Don't think they are harmful, but just curious.

Nope they aren't harmful and congrats!
Apparently they are seeking moisture so a bathroom is a good place for them to lap up the water when you're doing exotic things in your bathroom.

the only thing exotic going on in my bathroom is trimming the bonsai tree growing in my pants.
