Show me a picture of a woman over 30, and I will tell you if she smokes.

If you know what to look for, the brain can process all of this information pretty quickly. Some markers:
Appearance of lower socio-economic status.
Heavy makeup.
Flabby arms.
Lines around mouth and eyes. (If you know her age, does she look older than that number?)
Yellow and/or crooked teeth.
Leathery skin.
Tattoos, when more than two of above factors are present.
The bottom line inquiry is whether the woman looks like she lives hard. Addicts neglect grooming and fitness because their addiction comes first.
Sorry if I have insulted anybody's wife. Smoking is gross.

I thought quitting smoking usually makes the person get fat because nicotine suppresses hunger. I've seen it personally in quite a few ex smokers.

It's always been obvious to me that Jennifer Aniston was a heavy smoker. Has not aged well in my opinion.
