I think there are alot of politicians out there who don't worry about the citizens at all, much less what is best for them.

"Our government " wants us to focus on A lion that was hunted, or a Michael brown issue. So they can partake in some tomfoolery with Iran/planned parenthood.

frick no.

They have too much responsibility to just accept the government at face value. As a rule always be skeptical of authority. Be respectful when appropriate, but be skeptical.

No. They are a criminal organization who plays its citizens against each other. They run ponzi schemes with your retirement, alienate allies, and eventually succumb to the large banking institutions and wealthy donors.

They are scum.

Definitely but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. A system should never rely on the altruism of people. I'm immediately suspicious of anyone who tells me they have my best interests at heart.

Yes, the government is full of omniscient, benevolent people who are better than all of us.

Of course the OT hates and distrusts the government, they're all lawyers.

No, I don't trust the man. They have done nothing to earn that trust.

Where have you purchased a gun that did not require a background check (excluding private sale)?

We should never trust them as they don't have our best interests at heart. We need to bring back the idea that our government representatives are our employees.

Trust a bunch of people you've never met or know much about at all, knowing the corruption that power brings and the level at which they possess it?

Sure, why not?

Odd, given then a background check is required to buy a gun in most cases.
