non-violent should be able to own firearms.

Why the frick should someone convicted of say tax evasion not be allowed to hunt ducks any more because they can't possess a shotgun?

Re the comment that "almost everyone has done something that could be a felony". Sorry, but I have not, nor has anyone in my family. And I know we are not the odd ducks in this scenario. Having said that, I could care less if you vote or not. Our former governor was convicted & served 11 yrs in the Federal pen & was able to not only vote in this past Federal election, he was able to run for Federal office.

They should only be allowed to vote for the president. That way, their vote doesn't count towards anything but they feel like they were somewhat responsible
