Should i take FORTRAN or C++ this summer?

I've got the option to take either one this summer, but don't know which one will be the easiest. The only reasons I care about computers are TD and porn. I'm not trying to learn anything or build fricking robots here. I'll leave that up to the actual computer programmers. It's their job after all. I just need to take one to keep crossing things off of my flowchart.

C++, but you better pay attention. If you don't learn anyhing you will be in a world of hurt when your ME professor tells you to write a program which returns an optimized solution given a certain input dat stream

If ME is anything close to aerospace (which it was at alabama) you will have to write programs for your major. You may want to learn the basics

I think I'll only need it for Heat Transfer, and they have that class set 4 semesters after I was supposed to take programming, so I am going to assume it will be very basic and we will review what we need to know before hand
