What happened to telling your boss to frick Off or even taking a swing at him? I blame this on all the postal employees in the 80's that set the standard of responding to termination with random gunfire.

Two things need to be banned in this country.

1. Religion
2. Guns

I think they misunderstood your post. I took it to mean the 2nd amendment trumps all, but unfortunately there are plenty of idiots that have that same protection.

I also assumed your picture said "stupider" in attempt to be funny, but stupider and stupidest are actually correct words, even though most people prefer more stupid and most stupid.

but this comment can easily be turned against you by someone who suggests that a larger magazine could/would have resulted in more deaths.

We'll them that someone would be a complete tard seeing as how the shooter was using a shotgun. Seriously doubt homeboy was using an AA-12 or something similar.

You know companies are not giving their yearly raises and that can really piss a person off.

No doubt.

My point was merely to illustrate that there's way more guns out there than responsible gun owners.

Unfortunately one gets the rap for the other.

Ed Osteen, a poster here and a friend, used to work in that office a couple years ago.

He never had good words about that shite hole or the people who work there.

My point was that if he had a larger magazine on an AR-15, for example, he could have been deadlier. Again, I'm not arguing that, but just pointing out this situation isn't exactly a "win" for those who support high-capacity magazines.

Which kill more people annually?

A. Stupid gun owners
B. Stupid automobile owners

But I still agree 100% with the point you were trying to make. Guns are safe. People are dangerous (and sick)

I understand that, but someone said it was a "double dose of ignorance", and I assume they were referring to the use of "stupider" in the picture.

I'm a 2nd amendment advocate, but some of the reasons people bring up to defend gun rights are a bit ridiculous.

Obviously automobile owners kill more people than gun owners, but we all come into contact with automobile owners using automobiles than we do gun owners using guns. That is the equivalent of saying black crime is not a problem because there are more white people in jail than there are black people.

Well there were 33,000 gun deaths in 2013 (most recent stat available), compared to 37,200 automobile deaths in 2015, and 32,400 in 2014.

Eta, that stat is for the first six months of 2015, adjusted for extrapolation.

Gun Rights advocates just need to take a book from the gun control folks and start using semantics without shame.

Check out this headline:

Disgruntled employee bent on mayhem stopped by a man with a gun.*

*ALL of this is absolutely true. I just left out that the "man with a gun" happened to be him and that he self-selected.

True..in the rare actual mass shooting cases yes. Mass shooters are a complete different level of fricked up and with the absence of fire arm availability they'll result to other methods of destruction. One doesn't need a gun to kill a bunch of people at once.

This guy like most of the occurrences only had one or two intended targets more than likely.

While I think mag size restrictions are pretty useless in situations like this , I agree normal people really have no actual use for 100rd drums and such. Though I'm not got tell Cletus he can't have one.. He might like blowing thru a paycheck worth of ammo on the weekends.

It's a slippery slope honestly.
