I use it. I use a tritronics collar, but there are plenty of effective ones. I hardly have to shock my lab anymore, usually putting the collar on her and wearing the remote on my neck is enough.

Dog's aren't stupid though either. They usually have a good idea of what's going on. Our dog would jump an we never cared too much, when the wife was pregnant though he never did it once to her.

Have the lil guy here now, an dog doesn't bother him at all either, sniffs him every once in a while an goes about his business. An this is a 2 year old hyper dog that wants to play all day.

he doesn't seem to notice or care that the wife is pregnant. the whole issue is containing his excitement for the first 5 minutes someone (myself included) walks into the house. if I can get him calm then, he is otherwise a very well behaved dog.
