Severe head cold. Can I take these OTC drugs?

I took an Alka-Sertzer Cold Plus and a BC Powder.
Would it hurt if I took and Anitihistamine too?

Doesn't the Alka Seltzer Plus already have an antihistamine in it? Check the back of the box to see. I wouldn't add a separate one if you already took it in the AS.

That Alka Seltzer normally knocks me out. I'd do a shot of Whiskey, drink a glass of water then hit the sack.

The AS Cold Plus has an antihistamine in it. Take it every 4 hours, good stuff. My job has restrictions on taking most meds and be able to work. 12-24 hours is the restriction on most meds before returning to work, AS Cold Plus has a 72 hour restriction.

Dilute with water and snort it or make a concoction to drink. Google it. I snort it strait to instantly drain my sinus cavities. Its the worst thing to ever do to yourself thats actually good for you.

Doubling a standard OTC antihistamine dose might make you a little sleepy, but you'd have to be extremely sensitive for it to be more of a problem than that. I would add Flonase or other steroid spray and a Breathe-Right strip.

Someone told me about that, and I forgot it. I haven't really been sick since I heard about it. I'll have to try it next time.

I think you need to quit stacking all of these different medicines before you overdo it and frick up your kidneys...
as the others say, look at all of the ingredients on each medicine and be sure you aren't double dosing any of it...
