My wife and I got a really nice Mackenzie-Childs dog treat jar that looks just like this:

And the lid is just metal and sits on glass of the jar… I know they make cookie jars and what not that have that little silicone strip to seal in the lid on the rim of the jar… short of buying a new cheaper jar, is there like a “silicone seal tape” that would be kinda like a weatherstripping? You know, like a wiper blade material that would seal the lid…

I can’t for the life of me think of the words to google to find such a product because all I keep coming up with is jam jar seals and all kinds of sealing tape.

Thanks.

I love my dogs. Dogs will eat their own shite, I wouldn’t be worried about stale dog treats

I bought a 10-pound box of Milk Bones 3-4 years ago. I took some out and put them in a ziplock with their other treats then forgot about the box that I put up on a shelf in a cabinet in the laundry room I never go in. I happened upon it about a month ago, figured the dogs wouldn't eat them, I was wrong. They eat them with the same ravenous abandon they did when I first opened the box.

What are the odds that the dog:

goes on play dates?

has a bed with its name on it?

Goes to a professional groomer once a week?

Couldn't produce a deep woof if it's master depended on it?
