Great thread title.

I spent half a year in Scotland back in the late 80s and if you do that you really get sick to death of the accent over time. I still kind of cringe when I hear like, say Mike Myers doing the Shrek voice or something like that.

Dumb thread.

But the Scottish accent is the only one in which you can pronounce colonel phonetically and have it sound correct.

Puerto Rican lady I know says "frick us" for focus.

"Clits" for cleats
"Bitches" for beaches

Was about to post the same. Worked with a Puerto Rican lady once, and was always comical (partly because of her sheepish, "C'mon guys, I can't help it!" expression) when she had to bring up the focus group she was working on.
