Dated a girl who lived there. Id prefer closer to warehouse district/CBD for about the same price.

Nope, lived uptown in a rented mother-in-law house for 7 years during/after grad school. Needed a place to rent for less than 1 year during a transition period. They let you do a lease for 6 months or greater. I did 7 1/2 months, perfect for me.
Great if you have pets, definitely a little overpriced. However, the uptown housing/rental market has been crazy the past 2 years so its closer now to market rate.
