I didn't think SF even had cops.

The police actually let him POINT THE GUN AT THEM before the first shot.
Doesn't matter. SF will still riot.
The lib community would prefer the cops wait until at least one of them are shot/killed. Then they can possibly shoot at a leg or something. Also, this news should spur some additional impeachment proceedings against Trump immediately.

who were the hyenas in the background chirping.
Can't stand the screeching going on or bystanders trying to get the perp to escalate against an armed police force.

If Harry Callahan had been there, he would have talked him down with...

This must be atypical programming for something called GRINDFACE TV in San Francisco.

SMH at the stupid bitch filming at the bottom of the screen when this went down. That is good way to get a stray bullet.

He looked like he tried to get shot earlier by pulling out empty left hand and pointing it at cops.

friends and family said Bluford did indeed have a gun and fired once at the officers; they pointed on Thursday to a chalk circle on the street where they said the casing from Bluford’s bullet had landed.

He had a fearful association with police, they said, one borne from a lifetime of negative experiences dealing with law enforcement: According to criminal records, Bluford was charged with kidnapping, rape, assault with a deadly weapon, and various other crimes in 2006; he was incarcerated in 2008, according to criminal records, and friends and family said he spent more than a decade in prison.
Then in 2022, he was charged again, with domestic violence, sexual assault, and criminal threats. It was not immediately clear if he was convicted and imprisoned for these alleged crimes.

Even if they felt he was a threat they could have Tased him or shot him in the leg.”
San Francisco police, however, do not carry Tasers. And are not trained to shoot-to-wound.

After reading all of that it sounds like they killed a career criminal who fired a gun at police. What else is there for the police to understand?
Hell, he deserved at least one round to the leg of his choice for that "T" on the end of his first name.

It seems rare when this ISN’T their exact reaction. What the frick is wrong with these people?

That wasn’t even a hail of bullets. Less than 15 it sounded like

Yeah, it’s law enforcement that has no logic
These people are so fricked, there’s no hope for them or their offspring. I don’t know how the cycle ends
