It has never quite recovered since thieves came in the middle of the night and stole the top half of the giant arse golf ball a few years ago.

I think we can all take solace though in knowing that no one was ever able to kill or seriously injure the gent on the tractor picking up golf balls no matter how hard we tried.

Wow, hit my first golf balls there as a kid many, many years ago.

Is kinda sad, but wonder how much they would take for the giant half ball on a tee?

And what the hell did someone do with the top half of the ball?

not anymore.. bull dozers , tractors and trucks galore. range building has been demolished and the ground is being torn up. Ball is still standing.

Who told you that story? It was beat to hell and back from golf balls hitting it.
They were just too cheap to pay for the fiberglass repairs to get it fixed.
They called all over town for prices on supplies and estimates to get it painted.

Pretty sure a storm blew off what was left of the top a long time ago.

My Dad hit balls there when I was about 8 and he managed to hit a ball in the hole that was on the old top. Prize=bucket of balls
