Rouses to open on Burbank/Lee In 2018 (link added)

Couldn't find anything online but it's announced in the latest 225 magazine.
Love that Rouses is making presence in South BR but damn, the traffic is bad enough already and will not be sustainable without some improvements at the Burbank/Lee intersection.

Also also adding a market place called Arlington that will have around 12 other shops/restaurants
Not to mention you already have Walmart and Winn Dixie in the same area. Unfortunately Winn dixie will feel the most pressure

They should never have approved all of those apartments around there. Too damn many people trying to get in an out of that area already.

Right past the Popeyes if you are coming from Perkins. The entire shopping center that sits back from Staring is empty. I was told that Donnie Jarreou (sp?) was handling the Rouses going in there

That parking lot is going to be a shite show when everything is done. I welcome it though. More options almost in walking distance to my house is good.

I was told that they are going to redo that whole parking lot and expect to be able to fit in another 30+ spots. I don't know who first designed that lot but they are an idiot

I agree. Parking will probably suck during Happy Hour, around the same time Max Fitness is busy and people are stopping at Robert's after work.
