A few weeks ago 3 Biden Fans walked right out the door of the Ruston Walmart with 7 TV'a.
RUSTON, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Ruston Police say they are investigating a theft from the Walmart Supercenter.
According to police, they were called to Walmart Wednesday, May, 19 in reference to a theft.
Police say three women stole seven televisions by pushing them out of the garden center.
An employee told police when they tried to stop one of the women they tried to pepper spray the employee.

It may be different in Livingston, and I would be it is, but in EBR, shoplifting likely won't even be prosecuted by the DA and if it is, they plea it out to no punishment whatsoever.

You are correct, most Counties now will not even make a PD report on theft under a certain threshold. On the news this week San Francisco Liberal DA stated that they would not prosecute under $950. I don't know anything about LP but Liberal DA and prosecutors don't want to charge these issues as they want to lower their crime statistics as well.
