Round 2 of Colonoscopy prep

Man.... you guys were right. Last night was frickin rough. Was glued to toilet for about 4 hours before I mustered the courage to head to bed..... all the while fearful that I would shat myself in the middle of the night.
And now I am supposed to drink more of "the stuff" and do it all over again this morning. Procedure is at 1pm.

The drug they give you to put you under is real nice. You get all warm and fuzzy and the next thing you know you are in recovery. Preps the hard part. You're almost there.

The secret to the prep is to prep a few days in advance. You need to divert the onslaught. Start taking stool softeners and laxatives two days before and eat light, clear stuff. The poop needs to come out clear and as earlier mentioned,like pee. Once its clear, you're good to go. Godspeed and hope this helps next time.

Huh? Why would you be doing this for a 2nd day?
I just went thru this in Feb. I started drinking the stuff (mixed with Gatorade) at 2 PM & was finished at about 6:30 PM, same day. The next morning was the colonoscopy.

Prepare for epic farts, they blow air into your colon to get a better look at things. That air has to come out and it can make for some amazingly loud and long farts. Especially in the recovery room. 
I don't know how the nurses deal with that day in day out. Don't hold them in, let em rip.

You shouldn't be going through round 2.
I didn't feel the effects until about 20 minutes after my first drink of 8-10 ounces, gotta love the taste of the formula.
My baby was 2 months at the time too. I stayed glued to the toilet for a while. Hoping I don't have to do it again for s long time
