Have any of the NELA OTers heard they are closing?

I ate their Saturday night. Food and service were terrible. Our server said they had not received a schedule for this week yet. I believe they are only open on the weekends right now. I have heard the owners are trying to sell it.

If that place ever got good management, it would do very well.

It needs to close and re-open with something worth a shite in it's place. Cool arse building/patio. Turrible food and service..

the people that opened had no prior restaurant experience.

Haven't been there in over a year but the food & service has been pretty bad all along. When your salsa is the high point of the menu you're doing something wrong.

I do love the building. The bar and the deck deserve a better restaurant.

Those ppl can't cook worth a shite.

Great place to get fricked up though. That place was crawling with talent the day of the Mardi Gras parade.

I hate to see it close but I rarely go there because the food is so bad.

Haven't heard if they are but I couldn't care less. Food is over-priced shite. The atmosphere and location are cool but that's it. Better options for Mexican food in Mecca

Actually ate there tonight and it wasn't bad at all. Lived in Monroe for years and never had it before.
