This is sad news. He was the star of one of my favorite films from the 80's.

Natural causes means someone died from an illness rather than from trauma. RIP Roddy.

I honestly never knew this. I always assumed it was more or less reserved for old people who die of some opportunistic infection or something chronic that typically afflicts old people. If a 45yo guy dropped dead from a Heart Attack I'd say he died from a heart attack, not natural causes. But you're right. I had to look it up.

And he probably may have been. The effects of cancer can still occur even after you're in remission imo

He lived an awesome life

I always like Roddy. But, after I saw Celebrity Wife Swap with Roddy and Ric Flair I REALLY liked him. It was a very touching show. I think it ended with Roddy telling Ric that he can't continue living like he was still THE SUPERSTAR forever.

WWE commercial for Wife Swap:

It was total awesomeness. Ric living the superstar celebrity life and Roddy living on a farm raising a bunch of livestock with his close family.

RIP Roddy, you were the MAN !!!

Little known fact,

His great-great grandfather was Robert Toombs of Georgia , the first Confederate States Secretary of State.

I knew that. Robert Toombs was my ancestors first brigade commander. Toombs Brigade. Political general who left in 1862 and was replaced by Henry Benning. The man that Ft. Benning is named after.
