Responding to Workplace Violence

Thought some of you HR folks and organizations might be interested in this event.

They will have speakers from the FBI, DHS, OSHA, and others talking about how to recognize potential issues and responding to events, including active shooter.

Pretty inexpensive considering the CE hours being offered and lunch at the Renaissance.

Considering what we saw yesterday, I think organizations need to be prepared for every scenario as much as possible.

Stopped by a business today that had customers in the building when they had to go on lockdown, and those folks weren't allowed to leave until around 5 pm.

There are all sorts of contingencies to consider.
