The cultural and economic and the spiritual loss to this city for having those statues up that have run people out of the city,” Landrieu claimed. “The great migration that sent some of our best and brightest to places across the country that we don’t have the benefit of has been incredible.”
It is hard to even form a rebuttal to this, because of how mind numbly ridiculous it is.

It's, Jesus Christ, I can't even..

It's a stretch, but everyone swore that Edwin Edwards would never go to jail either. Then it happened. And he was slicker than Mitch.

Let the city flood one or two more times from a normal afternoon summer rainstorm and see what happens.

Yes, on his FB page I saw a pretty disturbing amount on one post.

If you look where they are from though, they are not even from NOLA.

They are from New York, Chicago, Virginia, etc. etc.

no...he's radio active right now. No one wants his support and no one is supporting him.

He's on an island politically and I dont see anyone wanting to align themselves with him

So, can we just lock him in the 9th ward? Gert Town?

I dont know if any of you follow Eric Asher, bu he seems to be the only member of the local media that is holding The Bitch's feet to the fire...he's constanly bashing him left and right on social media.

Another one to follow is Adrian Bruneau, Peppi's son, he's going all HAM on Bitch...

All he has left is his inner circle, he played winners and losers with the black churches and they hate him as well.

New Orleans will survive Mitch.

Video attached for fired up residents

Landrieu's voting base is coming after him, wants him fired. And another twist to this story: Boutbon Street drainage project may come to an halt because of money. And just another twist to this story: the sewage board said it is going to cost 7 million just to assess pumps in New Orleans. Everyday Landrieu is sinking more and more. Hey Mitch, how about them statues?

Edwards was a crook, but his competentcy was orders of magnitude better than the clowns of Nagin, Blaco, and now Landrieu...

Such a shame Landrieu has falled to Nagin and Blanco levels

I have friends here in Vegas that often asked if I'd be returning home since I retired. I started telling all of them to google news on New Orleans, then get back to me. They stopped asking quite a while back.
