[quote]According to the study, eating more than the recommended daily amount of red meat does not affect short-term heart disease risk factors, such as blood pressure and blood cholesterol.
That's what I am talking about.

The recommendations to limit red meat from the diet come mainly from studies that look at the dietary habits of people with cardiovascular disease.

I don't trust anyone who doesn't eat red meat.

Sure. Eat a ton of pork ribs and it's a guaranteed heart attack in the making.

This has been known for awhile that the perceived negative effects of red meat, and fat in general, were overstated.

Professor Campbell said more analysis is needed as the evaluation of blood pressure and cholesterol are not the sole determinants for someone to develop heart disease.

Science is so broken right now. Every week they contradict the prior week.
"The World Health Organization on Monday declared that eating processed meat may cause cancer and said that unprocessed red meat may also be carcinogenic."

The main problem is the processed breads and sugars.
Eating any meat by itself or with vegetables and healthy starches are ok

the original studies that linked meat to heart disease involved people primarily eating processed meat
steak: good
salami: bad
roast: good
bacon: bad
it's not red meat; it's processed red meat, stupid
