Recommendations on 65 or 75 inch tv?

Looking for a good deal on either. Looking fo a good brand name but don't care if it's 4K or not. Also, any guidance on the optimal viewing distance for either would be great.

You should determine your viewing distance and buy based on that, not the other way around.

Costco. Tough to beat those prices on samsung sets.

I would not recommend SONY. We have had an extremely bad experience.

Just bought a 65" LG 4K from Target for $800 last night. Gorgeous picture, Battlefield 1 looks wonderful on it. Works great for me sitting 6-7 feet away, but I really bought it for my house we are building that will have me closer to 8-9 feet away.
