Replace that hardwood with brick and wax it.

I was looking for same last year and saw Bona didn't have very good reviews.

Don't start. My wife is telling me we need to have them refinished because of scuff marks etc etc.

Inch or 2 of vinegar in a spray bottle, fill the rest up with water.
