Approximately, how long does the Diploma Granting Ceremony last? Not the Main ceremony which is always held the night before. LSU splits up their graduation ceremonies, Main ceremony on the first evening, then the Diploma Granting ceremonies are scheduled all day and night the day after depending on the college. For instance, Manship School of Mass Communication graduates are scheduled to receive their diplomas at 5:30 pm.

With about 75 or so graduates, one to 1.5 hours.

It veries widely based on which ceremony your major attends. Some are small and don't last very long. Some are longer. I'm still waiting for last may's engineering diploma ceremony to end. They're only on last names that begin with S!

Depends on the college. Bigger they are the longer if not already obvious. Had some friends with dual degrees that walked with the smaller college for the shorter ceremony. Other than speaker(15-30mins) the ceremony only takes as Long as it takes to rattle off the names.

OK thanks. I have no clue how many students are graduating from the Manship School of Mass Communication. I am figuring it will last no longer than 2 hours.

At my ceremony for the business college we didn't even have much speaking. They went over university medalists and such then started rolling the names. Took about 2 hours. Make sure your phone is charged and put a fun game on it or something.
