if you are looking for internet help you might be better off hiring someone to do it if you can afford it
too important not to have it done right especially with electrical type issues

Youtube has everything. I don't mess with electrical, because frick dying if you do it wrong. Everything else is very easy.

This is not a question for the OT. And it will be specific for your situation based on many factors. If you need help, find a professional. If you don't trust one, talk to multiple.

Sheetrock is something you could probably handle IF you don't mind a sloppy result. Hanging is one thing. Floating and getting a good finish is something that takes practice although you can probably find a cheap guy around to this one task.

Insulation, if you are going with the roll type, is pretty damn easy.

Electrical work is where the complexity comes in. Most is pretty simple if you are VERY careful. If all you need to do is replace receptacles. If you have to get into the breaker box, you better know what you're doing or you won't live to do any sheetrock and insulation work. Plus, there are codes that should/must be met.

just asking this question indicates you need help.

Gut house
Clean house
Dry house
measure moisture
Spray for mold and insects
Inspect electrical, plumbing and HVAC
Inspect structure
Retreat for termites
Get permit where needed
Hire licensed contractor- ask to see license, verify with LA state Contractor Association
Ask to see insurance coverage of Contractor- verify with insurance agent
Check references-
Any contractor that asks what the insurance or FEMA is giving you- dismiss and move on

After all of that you are just beginning to get ready to rebuild

Repair any structure, electrical, plumbing HVAC etc
insulation
Dry wall
tape and float
prime
paint
rough plumbing
new cabinets
trim carpentry
stain or paint cabinets
built in appliances
cabinet tops
more carpentry and plumbing including fixtures
flooring
More carpentry, painting etc

I could go on but I hope you see this is just like building a home=-- you really need help

So far I have done everything myself but replacing the AC and I am contracting out drywall. If you do not know how to do something Youtube. I have learned how to turn off gas and do all kinds of stuff from youtube. What I do not find on youtube, I think it through and then attack the problem.

Why are you telling him to hang and finish the drywall before doing the rough-in?
