A woman who is an employee and representative of a public university is seen repeating the N word in a video released to the public a day or so after a video of the same frat chanting a vile, racist chant and people here can't see why this is a big news story smh.

Well we should just label everyone racist because apparently if you merely utter a racial epithet it makes you a racist. Words speak louder than actions right?

This country has gone full fricking retard. We are pathetic.

The woman was singing along with a rap song. This story was already past the point of stupid, now I don't even know what to call it.

I've gotten to where I listen to NPR a lot in the car. They actually have good stories on there (non political) sometimes. Lately the only stories they even talk about are this one, the new unarmed black killing by the white cop, and the Ferguson investigation. I mean, the damn Boston Marathon killer is in trial right now and I haven't heard them cover it much at all. Don't think any blacks were harmed so they won't really cover it.

I noticed the same thing about NPR and stopped listening. It's ashame because they used to air a lot of educational programs.

Love how the NBC video clip just shows her saying the word 3 times. Like she was just sitting there saying it and not singing along to the song. Very poor report with the total intent of framing her as a racist who just goes around saying the word over and over. An honest report would have shown more of the video with the song playing in the background. But, of course, that would have allowed viewers to see it was her singing to a rap song instead of being a lady with turrets syndrome who chants the word for racist reasons.

The black members of OU's SAE chapter were on CNN last night saying she is the most caring woman they've ever met and certainly not racist. They said she was singing a song and that part was cut out of the longer video and released. She still keeps in touch with both of them and has their family photos hanging in her house.

And for those that don't know, house mothers live in the fraternity/sorority houses in a separate wing/house on the property. They are there to manage staff, for emergencies, and to be there for the members when they need her.

Our house mother never came out during parties. We built her a soundproof wing of the house so she couldn't hear the music and party.
