Do you run the water from the hot faucet and cold faucets?

cold only, just need a drip

Cold, faucet nearest to the source pipe only. Not all of them, unless your pipes between the source and faucets are outside as in a raised house with pipes underneath.

From the cold but only if it will drop below 20. The only time Ive had a pipe burst is when it stayed below 25 for 48 hours.....and that pipe was exposed to a strong wind right at my Pier & Beam foundation vent too. Also, remove your hose from the spigot and wrap the exposed spigot pipes. Even just a towel wrapped around it is good.

One or two nights in the 20s isn't going to freeze pipes here. Even pier-and-beam houses won't have to worry unless the house has been vacant for a while. There's enough residual heat and heat leaking from the house to keep the lines from freezing.

Thanks. I have pier foundation and was nervous because there will be a couple of night in the 20s this week.
