Question on child development. How old would you expect this kid to be?

Let's say you have a small child and you present her with 3 or 4 numbers and she can tell, verbally, what number is missing.

For example: if you say "one, two, three" and ask and she says "four" but with different variations on the missing number (1, blank, 3, 4 and she says "two").

At what age should one expect a kid to start communicating like that?

My kid was counting to infinity in five languages while juggling when he was 8 months old.

Memorize counting to 10? probably 3 or before. My son did it earlier, daughter was later. Unless you're saying 2,4,6,? or 3,6,9,? that would be probably 8-10

Nah - like say the missing number (which is essentially memorizing I guess)

What does TOO early mean?

Yea, way too early. You should drop her on her head a few times to get her back in track.

Don't get too excited. I could read at 3 and I spend my free time dicking off on a message board

It's hard to say. I would guess somewhere around 2-3.

8-10 years old for counting by twos or threes? That would be a lot earlier, like 1st grade or maybe even earlier. 8-10 year olds are learning multiplication/division.
