What beard specific products do you use (if any) to prevent beard dandruff?

Oils, beard balm, beard shampoos?

I'm finally able to grow my beard back out after 6 months of having to be clean shaved for work , before that I kept my beard for about 4 years, and I don't remember having this much dandruff.

I use a 3 in 1 body wash and I've never had dandruff. Don't use any beard specific products at all.

Maybe I'll hit it with conditioner once every two weeks.

I've found a jar of coconut oil works as good as anything as a moisturizer and is a lot cheaper. The smell isn't that strong. Wash it with whatever shampoo you use and spread a dime worth of coconut oil and your good to go.

Also don't I care what these assholes say. A beard is the oldest men's hair style in human existence and won't got out of style... Skinny jeans however are a different story.

I rocked the beard for a little while, but grew out of it. Like my mom always told me "beards are more commonly worn by ugly people" and I agree

Mine isn't a beard. It's just facial hair. I don't let it get long. I just hate shaving every day and I have a fat face.

I've never used anything other than normal shampoo for my beard.

I use a Cetaphil soap bar so it doesn't dry out.

At what point does facial hair become a beard? I keep mine at about a #2 guard length

Not sure. I usually fluctuate between lengths. I will go from a #2 guard, to long enough to be able to stick a pencil through it and it stay.

Me too. I think 3 guard is the max.
