First of all, I couldn't care less about some silly ESPY award but something about this whole ordeal is just not right.
This guy gets this courage award after deceiving 3 women to marry him and fathering 6 of his own children. Ok, fine.
My question to him is, how can you say you lived in solitude and despair over this transition for months and months but, when your inattentiveness while driving was the direct cause of a woman being killed in February, you were able to go sit down with 20/20 not 2 months later? How would an event like inadvertently killing someone not drive you into a depression?
I understand he wasn't texting or drinking and driving but still, 5 months after causing an accident that killed someone, he is the best choice for a courage award?

The guy is an attention whore who is getting paid obscene amounts of money to push the idea that a mental disability is normal.

I cannot say without a great deal of hesitation that I would not get boobs and dress like a lady for a year or two for 75 million. Heck, the guy still gets to keep his junk and bang chicks. I wonder if there will be another show when he goes back or if this is the last hoorah for him in the reality world.

I really don't get it either - my own girlfriend is all into his story, liking shite on Facebook, etc. My nieces - same thing. Their mom mad a joke at dinner the other night and they were dropping the "transphobic" stuff... They're ages 18-24.
I'm pretty damn socially progressive - cool with gay marriage, adoption, don't call people "tardburgers" anymore. I just can't believe how quickly this .002% of the population that struggles with the most goddamn basic and fundamental part of our identity is so readily accepted as "normal" and any suggestion that they're insane is bigoted and ignorant.

The reality show will have good ratings for a year or two because Americans are dumb and like watching train wrecks. After the ratings drop, he'll either do something more drastic to drum up ratings (100% chop off his balls). It seems like a worldwide celebration of mental illness. Bruce must have all of the money he could ever spend between whoring out his stepkids/kids and his athletic fame. If someone told me 10 years ago that Bruce would win an ESPY for pretending to be a woman, I would have laughed. The media coverage of stupid shite has been out of control for a long time, but this is some effedupcrap.
