Finally get to leave this hell hole 
I'll be graduating this semester and I'm about to get an internship.
When I quit, does my two weeks notice have to be in writing or do I just walk into my boss' office and say peace?

best to put it into writing, and be prepared to be escorted out once you turn it in. Also emailing it to the boss has a paper trail started in the event they neglect to tell HR and you have a job abandonment on your record.

Put it in writing. Be professional and don't burn bridges. Hand deliver it and have a face to face with your boss and let him/her know you well email him/her a copy also to send to hr.

Just send a professional letter for a two weeks notice, don't want to burn any bridges with your soon to be previous employer.

Yes. That and I already have this semester paid for and enough saved up to last me a while. I just can't get any experience without quitting my current job.
That and I've just been going through the motions lately. Kind of getting that senioritis feeling at work because I know it's coming to an end finally.
