We had some people go, but most went to LSU. We were the first or second class to receive TOPS. Thanks, Mr. Taylor.

Majority went to LSU, but we had people go to Tulane, Miami, Michigan, Duke, Georgia Tech, UNC, USCw, Penn State, etc. (top public and private universities) + the Ivys

ETA: In fairness I may be adding people that were a grade above and/or below me.

But he wanted the turkey as the national bird instead of the eagle so minus 1 for that

Franklin was actually right about wanting the Turkey over the Bald Eagle but not for the same reasons. His claim was that because the Turkey is an incredibly smart bird and is a very courageous bird. The Bald Eagle on the other hand, is actually lazy. It doesnt even catch it's own food, yet waits for another bird to catch it then attacks it and steals it away from the smaller bird. Maybe he was just trying to save the country from turning into a bunch of worthless, lazy fricks on welfare. Too bad he didnt get his way.

Public school is becoming a real live option in NOLA. It's unbelievable.
See, I know I may be technically wrong, but I dont consider Franklin a public school. You have to take test and be chosen to get in. A public school to me is when you get in automatically from living in the district

Franklin is the New Orleans equivalent of Boston Latin...a selective entry public school where if you had what it took to get in, they took you...

although you had Franklin graduates going all over, I'd expect it more out of Lusher because of their realtionship with Tulane...

what would be interesting to me is to see where Newman and Jesuit stand in comparasion to the upper level public schools...

So lets call it what is really is, a free private school...
