Oh really?
So what’s the excuse for what we see in today’s fast food world?

That's back when having pizza once every six months or so was the norm, now it's once or twice a week because the majority of Americans don't know how to cook anything beyond a bologna sandwich.

The fast food places that keep it simple are still efficient with minimal mistakes. What’s your point?

Imagine how awesome pizza delivery in 2024 will be in our heads 40 years from now.

If you took a 21 year old from today and transported them back to 1980, they would be completely lost and wouldn’t be able to figure out anything. The lack of critical thinking skills would make them completely useless in figuring things out.

Meanwhile, the 21 year old from 1980 transported to today, would be able to rely on their critical thinking skills and figure out the technology and be able to get around and survive just fine.

I don’t disagree with the premise that technology is making us dumber, but I’m not sure this example makes a ton of sense. Do y’all think pizza delivery is worse with online ordering?

The only issue I have seen in recent years is that some pizza places haven’t been able to staff enough drivers.

Then why did so many of the 35-45 year old Boomers struggle so much adopting and then keeping up with technology when the internet exploded in the mid to late 90's? Had they lost all of the critical thinking skills they had in their 20s?

This is sort of silly, they had fairly reasonable delivery radiuses and you would tell the driver where to go while you were on the phone and they wrote it down.
