Working on new construction in River Ridge. We have 48" for our range + dual ovens. I do not think that we are going to do the Dual Fuel, I think we have decided on the all-gas with convection oven.

Currently debating the GE Monogram 48" 6-burner: https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/RGV486G.html

and the DCS 48" 6-burner: https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/RGV486G.html

The Monogram is about $900 more but it has higher BTU output and about .9 cubic feet more oven space. Monogram also is self-cleaning.

They each come with a free dishwasher or a hood. We are probably going to take the dishwasher and do the Zephyr 48" hood because we're going with an exposed chimney hood on our wall LINK

Anybody have any experience or thoughts to share?

Out of curiosity, what made you think to post this here?

He was probably hoping you would provide him some of the wisdom you are famous for providing on this board.

Well, i debated here or tech. Truthfully i figured that the folks who post on the Money board are probably more experienced in cost of home renovation. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Money Board posters are probably more likely to have paid attention to what range they bought (and how much it cost) if/when they renovated or built.

If I'm wrong, Mods feel free to move this thread...

You'd probably have more luck on the F&D board on this particular topic. Here we tend to focus on personal finance matters, not kitchen equipment.

I'm doing the NXR 48", like the griddle and the staggered oven size vs two identical smaller ovens. Best quality for the $ IMO
