Prayers for my family

A week ago we lost my mawmaw. She was a wonderful woman. For 96 years she graced this world with her presence. She has now been reunited with my pawpaw, drinking coffee and dancing with him.

Very sorry to hear that, man. I lost my grandma right around this time of year about 8 years ago...I really miss her a lot this time of year.

She was in the advance stages of dementia. She didnt know who we were. She's in a better place. She has her mind and body back. And she's back with pawpaw.

She actually saw things that most of us just read about in history books. The wars and Great Depression aside, she saw the industrial revolution rise, and peak. She saw medications invented, and horrible diseases eradicated. She saw the explosion of the biggest sporting contests. She saw musical acts become stars, then legends.
You are right to be proud, and celebrate her life. She knew things.

Absolutely true...but it doesn't make you miss her any less. Glad she is out of that body that was holding her back. Hope she can put in a good word for our Tigers on New Year's day!

i hope you have many fond memories of her. though it's always hard for those who love us we all must go, and sounds like she had a long ride. may she be in peace on her next journey

a time that needed men/women to step up, and they did!
