Had court in Alexandria today and I decided to take an old car. No lovebugs to speak of here, but as I approached Alexandria they were everywhere.

Glad it was so hot I had the top up ...

Older cars tend to have fuel smells that attract those little bastards. When I came out, there was a horde of lovebugs all around the car.

Thankfully, this is an early 80's shite car (Riviera convertible) so it is NBD.

That car looks better with the bugs than without.

Do you like to strangle underage prostitutes in the back seat of that, and put their bodies on the sides of highways either in a suitcase or rolled up in carpet?

It is a good parade car. and that is about it. It is the worst "antique" car I have ever owned - the early digital electronics creates a lot of issues. It does have a good drive train and A.C.

Better old cars:

39 Buick Special

32 Buick

65 Mustang

69 Chrysler

It is definitely a "gangster hanging on the side with a Thompson kind of car."
