I love their chicken they are just shite run down here.

Popeyes is great when it is fresh and done to formula. However, a couple of places near me have refried the chicken to reheat it and that's just nasty, greasy and wrong for the meat too.

They probably tone it down. Non-American whites can't handle spicy food at all.

A buddy of mine is a police officer in TX. About 15 years ago Popeyes opened in his town. They offered free chicken to first responders. He went and got a 2 piece spicy. Not long after he got a call for a wreck. He said he was directing traffic and all of a sudden the gut cramps started. He had to call for backup and drove code all the way to the PD and shite his pants trying to get to the toilet.

I’m glad they’re getting the authentic Popeyes drive-thru experience that the U.S. gets.

Popeyes was great like 15 years ago. It keeps getting worse and worse

This is fact. I don’t know if people forgot how good Popeyes used to be, or if it’s just been too long ago, but Popeyes today is wholly inferior to Popeyes 20+ years ago. Back when the onion rings were actually onions and the red beans were creamy and flavorful. Back when it was owned by Copeland. I think it’s name recognition now plus Popeyes wasn’t as widespread so most people outside Louisiana never got to experience it’s true glory.
