We will now see what I believe is the first pope to preside over another pope’s funeral in the history of the church.

Don't care.
Pele was the biggest loss in the past 3 or 4 days.

Other than being the first Woke Pope, he came up with a delightful breakfast dish consisting of a poached egg atop Canadian bacon and an English muffin drizzled with Hollandaise sauce.

Rest in peace. Perhaps the last Christian pope we will ever see.

Being a Member of the Hitler Youth and then attacking allied bombers as part of the German Military.
I am sure the guy here who always posts the Nazi Airplane/Tank Models will be torn up about the news.

You're right. Francis is the woke one. It's early.

Not a catholic, but I read something he wrote while he was a pope and it displayed amazing depth and clarity. His ideas were exactly what the world needs.
Any thoughts on why he was deposed?

I'm gonna say it had something to do with money, the kind you lose in a lawsuit when you admit your organization is full of pedos and you've covered it up for years. I think he wanted to come clean and head in a direction that was admission of guilt and dismissing known pedos. Lawyers don't like that stuff.

When he first became Pope, he said he would step down if he became too feeble to do the job. He didn't shout from the rooftops because he didn't want it to be seem as a jab at JP2, but he put it on the record.
