man, I remember when they launched that craft...sure doesn't seem like it has been a decade...
I can't imagine what it must be like to basically devote your whole career to a project and see it come to fruition on a single day...

Saw this the other day, I can't wait. Incredible that in just a couple weeks we will have views of a whole new world.
I hate that NASA is so focused on the ISS, these probes are much cheaper and we learn so much from them. Ideally we could shave a percent or two off of the defense budget and allocate it towards space exploration, these teach us so much.
