I heard last week its in great shape.
As for the course, it's hard. It eats my lunch everytime I play.

Domed greens are BRUTAL. When I am not playing well, which is most of the time, I rate the course as "too difficult to be fun."

Yes, it's difficult and long but I suck at golf and playing this track reminds me to not take it too seriously. Last time I played there, I took my 113 like a man.

The first time I played UClub, I shot like 85. Played very well. I haven't broken 100 since. Haven't played since the redesign, but a good buddy of mine who I consider to be pretty decent golfer said its just not fun anymore.

I have no clue what they were thinking with the redesign. Before, it was a difficult course for us weekend warriors but it was still fun and manageable. Now, it is impossible to hit the greens unless you can hit 7 irons with extreme height like the pros and get major spin. It sucks

Depending on the setup.. That course now has a "How much pain do you want to endure" scale.

the tricked it up way too much. Lucky for them there is no real alternative in br.
