Plant/Gardening help: Fungus on Roses

There is some fungus (?) killing the roses in the front yard. Not sure what it is or the correct way to "cure" it.

Plan was to cut all the affected part off to start. Any ideas or recs?

It is a white coating on the buds and the stems.

Powdery mildew

I like daconil and just follow directions

That is powdery mildew. Roses are very prone to funguses including powdery mildew and black spot. I think Ortho makes something that controls both funguses and contains an insecticide for bugs. Just go to the wal marks or home depot and get yourself something similar and spray it on all of your roses every week or so.
