Place to donate non-running but fixable small engines

In BR. I have a weed eater that needs a new carburetor. It's fixable, but it may make more sense to replace than pay to fix. I'd hate to throw it away. Are there any small engine repair trade/education courses in BR that might want it? I'm thinking one of those vocational programs that helps teach homeless people trades. I searched Google and couldn't find anything.

Put it by the curb. It will be gone before the end of the day.

I felt kinda bad when I "donated" a pressure washer with a bad pump to goodwill because the trash company would not take it and I was not going to drive 30 minutes to take it to the landfill.

A new carburetor should only cost you about $30. I'm in the process of replacing one on a 1200 watt generator and it was $45.

Yep and 2 screws to remove. They usually come with new fuel lines too.

easiest would be to give it to a small engine repair shop
