What is the easiest/cheapest way to go get a prescription so that my therapist can fix my jacked up chest issues? Shattered my collarbone a few years back and chest day has sucked since then... about 3-4 weeks ago, I think I tweaked a pec and self diagnosed it with Costochondritis which is essentially inflammation of the cartilage around the pec due to injury. PT buddy of mine says they see it a lot and can work it out, but need a script. My dr charged me $100 to tell me I had a cold once (lasted 3 weeks and I swear it was the flu) and I don't feel like going back. Thoughts?

TL;DR - need prescription for therapy and I am not an OT baller.

TIA

That is effing dumb. Would be cheaper to drive to Arkansas to get PT. But, it's Arkansas, so get what you pay for I suppose.

WebMD says you have colon cancer and have been bitten by a tabby cat. Wash out with warm cheddar cheese and apply an Italian dressing.

Call your doctor and tell him what's up dummy

You don't need PT for that. Since you're self-diagnosing yourself, go ahead and find some exercises.

Part of the fix is realignment of the sternum... don't feel like making a contraption and breaking my spine.

He'll want $100 and then want to run tests... I don't wanna shell out money for an injury that has plagued me and is due to collarbone issues. But obviously this is the correct answer... I search the OT for the answers not many have thought of.
