Holy shite that drone footage is unreal. Looks like a photos you see of Hiroshima after the bomb. There ain't shite left!

Whenever they run out of fuel. You really can’t imagine the size and ferocity of these fires until you see one in real life.

Think of setting an entire state full of dry Christmas trees on fire.

They escalate at an unbelievable rate and I’ve personally seen the skies downwind turn dark in a matter of hours from the smoke of a wildfire started by a lightning strike.

Im working patrol in Santa Rosa and looters are rampant... This place looks like a war zone out of movie..

I assumed it was important enough but 50% of the posts are me giving daily updates.

It's sad that such a horrific story gains very little attention.

Smoke had been blowing down that way, that's still like 20-30 miles away though.

I'm a professional firefighter/paramedic and I feel horrible for all those hotshots. Those guys never quit knowing they are fighting a losing battle.
