Just after 3 p.m. while in the neighborhood of the player’s home, Mr. Lowe “chose to use the front yard of a residence to relieve himself,” Goodyear Police Department spokeswoman Lisa Kutis told New Times.

“An onlooker from across the street called it in to officers,” Ms. Kutis said. “They approached him, he said he’d had to relieve himself, and they arrested him.”

Faced with the choice of dropping trou or shitting my drawers, I am dumping in a bush. Seriously, you gotta give the guy a pass. It isn't like this was some choice he made.

This ranks up there with the Causeway Police arresting the Mandeville Mayor for pissing off the bridge. You think he wanted to do that?

Title makes it seem like he shite in their yard, but he just pissed. Wayyyyy different situation.

ETA: Apparently it was defecation, but I've never heard someone describe taking a shite as "relieving" themselves. Taking a piss? Sure, but not taking a shite.

Mr. Lowe faces a fine of up to $2,500 or six months in jail after being charged by the Goodyear Police Department with one count of violating city code 11-1-30, “public urination or defecation.”

Authorities told New Times that he was arrested on suspicion of the latter, a misdemeanor.

So if you piss in the front lawn your a sex offender, but if you take a duece then it's a misdemeanor?

Lesson here is to always squat down to pee like a women when peeing in public
