I want to be a baller like Fin. Catch crawfish. Wife finger paints with kids all day. Cooks meals every weekday.

Living the fin life.

There are lots of advantages to having a say at home wife.

Yep. My wife quit her job to stay home with the kids not long after our second was born. It took some adjusting financially speaking but we did not regret it for a second. Now that both kids are in school she's gone back to work as a substitute teacher at our kids school. This is a win/win for us in that she gets to go back to work but her hours mirror the kids' hours.

I don't know how you people hold it together. 3 mouths to feed at home. I'd be a nervous wreck. I don't know if I'd ever stop working.

You think state-forced eugenics is pro-capitalism?

Absolutely. Nothing prevents an exponential welfare state like eugenics. Eugenics encourages the most productive and consumer hungry among the population to breed.

one kid greatly inhibits your ability to just go do whatever floats your fancy

We are both well into our careers at 35-40 and have one 7 month old. We have been able to put more into savings this year than ever before because one kid isn't all that expensive but we don't just up and go do stuff that we used to. It's really been a win win for us.
