trying to find them. Why do people feel yelling their name or doing loud whistling will help you find your lost person of your group. Nothing worse than someone yelling their son's name in an attempt to try and find them. I don't want to be shopping and hear some mom yelling Jose really loud over and over trying to find their son.

Yeah, I wish people would just quietly look for their children. If you can't find your kid after a couple minutes you need to just bail and make another one.

Problem I see is it is more like 70 year old wife looking for their 70 year old husband.

This thread is much worse than that.

You've never been apart from important people in your life, at any time?

Those goddamn old people are the worst. Just the worst. I guess the only consolation you can get is knowing that they'll be dead soon so you won't have to listen to that shite anymore.

My sister and I used to make fun of people we saw wearing the same or very similar shirt as their SO or the person they were with. We said it was so if they got separated they could run around asking if they saw a man/woman wearing this same exact shirt, as if that was the perfect solution to that threat.

It's not really funny now, but for whatever reason it was hilarious to my 5-10 year old self.

If I'm with friends and acting stupid in a crowd sometimes I'll yell "dad!" or a common name like "Mike!"...if someone turns around I win, and maybe we'll laugh.

Another extremely fun thing to do is yell "hey you". The first person to turn around, point right at them and say "not you". gets me every time.

...because it gets the person's attention who they are trying to find...

This isn't rocket appliances.
